Demon & Eleven Children

Originally released in 1971, Demon & Eleven Children is a landmark release from Blues Creation, the iconic band helmed by guitar virtuoso Kazuo Takeda. Widely considered a foundational piece of Japan’s hard rock movement, the album erupts with ferocious guitar riffs, relentless rhythms, and a raw psychedelic edge that channels the spirit of early Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin.

While rooted in British-style heavy rock, the album distinguishes itself with vocals sung in English that carry a unique Japanese inflection—infusing the record with a haunting, otherworldly energy. A singular fusion of blues-inflected hard rock and eastern mystique, Demon & Eleven Children continues to captivate collectors and heavy psych fans worldwide.
