Cypress Hill’s Elephants on Acid is the group’s ninth studio album and marked their first full-length release in eight years when it originally arrived in 2018. Produced entirely by DJ Muggs, the record reconnects the group with the dark, psychedelic production style that helped define their early work.

Drawing inspiration from psychedelic rock, Middle Eastern sounds and cinematic textures, the album moves through heavy drums, distorted guitars, sitars and atmospheric interludes. Tracks such as “Band of Gypsies,” “Warlord,” “Crazy” and “Put Em in the Ground” combine Cypress Hill’s classic sound with a more experimental edge. This edition is presented as a 2LP set on translucent dark blue vinyl.
